Although not in its original box, this is an out-of-production kit #235. Three orange pipes have been glued to the deck (top pipe is split on one end and there is a glue smear on another – see picture). With its black unpainted deck, the “Standard Guide to Athearn Model Trains” lists its availability as "OP4: Out of production; extremely scarce. It is in fair shape (missing all corner steps and deck handholds). Includes Athearn’s old metal spring trucks.
